Each year in Orange County, hundreds of people from all walks of life – single, married, divorced, and widowed; of every income and educational level; from every race, cultural and religious background – adopt.
The best candidates to be adoptive parents are not "perfect" people intent on living the "perfect" life, but real people with real lives full of ups and downs, accomplishments and setbacks. Most of all they have the desire to provide the nurturing and love all children, especially adoptive children, need.
Applicants:
- Must be an adult and a resident of Orange County
- May be any sex, race, religion, color, political affiliation, national origin, or sexual orientation.
- May be single or part of a couple
- May own or rent your home
- Must be in reasonably good health
- Must have sufficiently appropriate room(s) to accommodate child(ren)
- Must be able to provide a suitable, safe, and stable environment
- Must have sufficient income to meet your own expenses and bills, but there are no income limitations
- Must submit to criminal records clearances, including the California Department of Justice and FBI livescan (fingerprinting) and the Child Abuse Index Check
