Children come to our agency’s attention due to abuse, neglect or abandonment. Our children are very unique and come from all ages, ethnic backgrounds and life experiences. However, they all share the need for someone like you to care for them.
Foster and adoptive care involves more than just attending to a child’s physical needs such as feeding, clothing and daily supervision, but attending to their emotional needs as well. Foster and adoptive parents are very special people who not only enjoy children, but try to understand and appreciate the complexities of a childhood filled with tragedies.
Many social workers, support staff and experienced foster parents are available to train and assist you in becoming an integral factor in our children’s lives.

Attending the INTRODUCTION TO FOSTER CARE AND ADOPTION MEETING is the first step towards becoming a foster or adoptive parent. The meeting provides an opportunity for you to ask questions and gather information in order to make an informed decision.

We realize that foster and adoptive parenting may be one of the greatest challenges you may ever undertake. However, there are few things in life more satisfying and rewarding than knowing you made a big difference a child’s life. We offer many opportunities for you to provide a child with a sense of self-worth and belonging that only a caring family can offer.
